Flawed

arshi

SHOT-1

Lifting my shivering fingers, I caress the letters which engraved on the card.

"KHUSHI."

I recite her name for zillion th time hoping to get her smile or at least to see her look out for me. Unfortunately, I am not good enough to get the privilege to see her craving eyes for me. She said it right, only after she slipped out from my life like the sand, I realised her value. She's an angel in the form of human.

I get hold of my moving fingers as it was crossing the boundary. How can my fingers betray me? How can it go beyond the periphery of her name? Below her name there was someone else name in it. That someone was her prince charming, who would sweep her off feet, who would make her happy, who would give her what she deserves. But alas! The thudding organ inside my ribcage was not ready to bear the reality. Reality of my dark life.

It's only in stories, Beast and angel live happily ever after. Not in real life.

My angel is not ready to forgive me. She isn't wrong. She's right in her place. In fact if I was in her place, probably I would've done the same.

Taking the marker I strike out the name below hers and wrote my name on the place. Least, I could happy with that for all my life.

"Khushi Kumari Gupta weds Arnav Singh Raizada" I read it aloud in satisfaction. A strange pit of thing happening inside my organs. It gives me a ecstatic feeling.

"Khushi Kumari Gupta weds Arnav Singh Raizada" I read it again. My voice echoed on the room and fell back right on my ears. Again the strange thing continue to give euphoric feel. I grin at the effect and read it again.

"Khushi Kumari Gupta weds Arnav Singh Raizada" I find out that I love to recite it again and again.

"Khushi Kumari Gupta weds Arnav Singh Raizada"

"Khushi Kumari Gupta weds Arnav Singh Raizada"

"Khushi Kumari Gupta weds Arnav Singh Raizada"

"Khushi Kumari Gupta weds Arnav Singh Raizada"

And I did the same, ignoring the knocks on the door, until my baggy eyes stubborn to close it and I try to reopen it. Even Arnav Singh Raizada fails. He failed in his life. He fail in this too. My body did pangaa with my heart and finally my physical fatigue won. And eyelids close automatically.

.
.
.
.

I stirred in my sleep as I felt some soft caress on my forehead. Wiggling my brows, I open my eyes and only to close it again by some strong light.

"Chotte.. Are you okay?" I hear the owner of soft caress. Why does di have to worry about me? Where's Khushi? This di bhi na. She wants me to marry when I was not ready. But when I am married she's not letting my wife to take care of me.

"Di... I just fainted due to low sugar. Why are you worrying unnecessarily? Call Khushi. Where is she? She must be worried. We just now got married, and it is not nice to leave my newly wedded wife to worry on my health." I said groggily and try to stand up. But wait, why can't I lift my limbs?

"Chotte... It's 29th June. You aren't married to Khushi. Her marriage held on 29th May. She's married to Raji.."

"WHAT THE HELL ANJALI? I AM SAYING NA, I JUST FAINTED IN SHOCK. WHY ARE YOU FUSSING OVER IT? I AND KHUSHI GOT MARRIED TODAY. DON'T BLUFF WITHOUT KNOWING ANYTHING." I roar as her words instigated a wave of havoc inside me.

How can she say this. It's only today we got married.

"Arnav Singh Raizada and Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada" How jubilant it sounds?

SHOT-2

"Where is Khushi?" I asks to di who's standing in a corner weeping. I couldn't move my limbs. But that doesn't matter. I want to see my Khushi. I want to assure her that I'll be fine. I want to apologise for making her worry on our marriage day. I want to hear her calling me 'Arnavji'.

I feel my anger reaching new heights seeing her weeping her heart out as if I was dead "I am asking you something di. Why are you weeping now? Tell Khushi to come here. She must be worried."

"Cho..te. please let doctor to treat you. You're not fine." She says in between her wails.

"Then tell Khushi to come here." I demand like a kid else these people will not let us in peace. Let Khushi come, we'll have a long honeymoon where no one disturb us. And I'll make sure to not hurt my angel and woo her for all the hurt I did to her. She deserves to be cherished.

"She'll come. First allow doctor to check on you."

"Yes bhai. Please, let the doctor to do his work." I turn my head to left hearing new voice. It's aakash.

"Are you both suffering from any hearing impairment? Doctor first check them." I spit out in annoyance. Why no one is understanding me? Only Khushi can understand me. Only she know me.

"If you didn't allow doctor near you, I'll not let Khushi to meet you." I can't believe di used this sick trick to blackmail me.

"What the! She's my wife. No one has rights to stop her from seeing me." Dammit! I can't even lift my fingers. What happened to me?

"I've the right. I am your sister, remember."

I grit my teeth to stop myself from exploding at her. For the sake of di, I nod my head.

At once two doctors and few nurses surrounded me like they're doing their experiment on me. I frown when the nurse tapped my foot. Strangely I didn't feel anything. In fact if I didn't see her tapping my foot, I wouldn't have come to know her touch. Who cares? Only Khushi touch matters to me.

The stupid doctor tested my patience by exaggerating the check up. I was about to shout, but suddenly my eyes turned heavy. I couldn't keep my eyes open. Eventually I close it as body refused to co-operate my heart wish.

"I want to see my Khushi." I murmurs one last time before closing my eyes slipping into some other world.

Third person POv

"He will be fine right?" Anjali, his di ask this to doctor almost knocking him down in the process.

"I am not sure Ms. Raizada. His diabetics are in control. That's why he come to conscious after a month from coma. Panic attack with hypoglycemia already showed it's result. Usually patients who suffer with diabetes coma come to conscious within 48 hours. Since Mr. Raizada his depression is at high rate and diabetes level also lead him to coma. This is something already we discussed. The thing was he lost his sensing power. I assure you it was for time being. His muscles would've stiffened by lack of movement in this one month. A perfect physiological treatment will bring him back. But.. he's still depressed about something. By the way, who's Khushi? He's murmuring her name. His recovery would be fast if she come here. Ask her to come here." The doctor left the place after explaining his current state.

"Aakash my chotte..." Anjali leap on Aakash arms.

"Our hands are tied di. We can't give what he wants." He whisper hoarsely. A lone tear rolled down his cheeks.

She wails more crying for the fate of her brother.

***

"Rajiv... It's already late. Wake up sleepy head. Aren't you getting late for office?" A girl.. well not some girl, ASR angel was waking up her sleepy husband plaiting her hairs.

"Five minutes khush..."

"No way. Get up now. I am getting late for my school." She scolds him throwing a cushion on his sleepy frame.

He sat up groggily and admired her clumsy form who was stuffing necessary items in her handbag.

"Will you stop staring at me?" She asks with a laugh.

He share a throaty laugh with her "No. I am starting at my wife. Who are you to stop me?"

"Please stop na. I feel uncomfortable." She says meekly.

"Ok. Wait for fifteen minutes. I'll drop you at school." He says getting up from his bed.

She smiles at him and rushes her process for today.

***

"Khushi... I am sorry."

"Khushi... I am sorry."

"Khushi... I am sorry."

The soul in sedatives murmurs seeking apology making others heart bleed.

"Payal, please call Khushi. I can't see him like this. Please.. I beg you." Aakash pleads at his wife who visited hospital as matter of courtesy.

"I can't Aakash. She is someone else wife. She moved on. I can't call her here just because your brother needs her." She inform in a firm tone.

"Fine then. Give me her number. I'll speak to her. You don't need to get down from your highness." He argues rather harshly.

"I can't believe you're ready to spoil my sister happiness just because your brother needs her. Well, it's not new. Raizada siblings are known for their sibling goals." She replies sarcastically.

"Please payalji. I beg you. Please..." Anjali please joining her palms infront of her.

Payal jumps from her place shocked by the scene. Anjali bows her head and gradually she slouches down. If not for Aakash she would've caused injuries for her legs which was braced already.

SHOT-3

"If I ask something, will you be truthful?" Rajiv asks stuffing his yummy breakfast.

"What is this new tradition? I am truthful always." She shrug her shoulder lifting her water bottle to take a sip.

"Will we ever have a future Khushi?"

Khushi chokes the water out. Her eyes teared in no time which Rajiv doubts whether it is because of his sudden question or some other reason which he is obvious.

***

She looks at him in horror. He breath heavily. Oxygen mask itself shifted from it's place by the force his body shudder against the bed. His lips are moving inside the mask.

"Aakash call doctor." Anjali urge Aakash and she herself went forward trying to hold him. Aakash hurries out.

"Chotte relax. Relax..." She murmur on his ears. She herself in panic at the moment yet she has learnt to stay strong in this one month.

"Khushi." She heard his whisper as she leaned her head towards his mouth.

"Chotte. Relax.."

Doctors rushes in and starts to check him and Anjali glued herself against a wall. Few minutes of struggle, arnav went into his deep slumber.

"He's having bad dream or recalling some bad memories." Doctor informs to the siblings.

Anjali muffles her sob. Aakash pats her shoulder in soothing way.

"We'll find solution for this. We cannot leave him like this." Aakash mutters pushing up his specs.

"It's all happening because of us. Only if we had paid attention to the happenings around us. We failed. Not only he's to be blamed, even us. Especially me. As a elder I should have noticed and investigated about the lack of commitment in chotte and Khushi relationship. If not atleast, I should have paid attention to chotte aloofness around Shyam. I am to be blamed the most. I didn't even noticed the depressed state of my grandson, fully immersed myself on Anjali bitiya. I shouldn't had kept quiet when Khushi marriage was fixed knowing how much Arnav was guilty for his actions. We should've tried something to patch them up rather leaving them on their own. More than him, I failed as a elder. I failed as a grandmother. I failed as a head of the family. It's me who was Flawed first." Devayani Raizada slouches down on the chair self blaming herself. Aren't humans and flaws are inseparable? She was bound to do that.

None of the eyes in the room was dry. Each and every eyes poured enough tears already. Not even a single person in the room was strong enough to console the old lady as everyone is immerse in their grief.

At once everyone turns silent. A murmur from Arnav has increased.

"You're MY BEAUTIFUL MISTAKE KHUSHI. Trust me. You're MY BIGGEST BEAUTIFUL MISTAKE." His murmurs echo on the room.

"Chotte..."

Anjali calls him in whisper. Flickering his eyes he open it.

"Khushi."

"Chotte are you fine?" Anjali, Nani, mama, Mami and Aakash surrounds his bed in no time.

"Where's she? You said, if I allow doctor to treat me you'll ask Khushi to come." He asks in less audible voice.

"She'll come chotte. You just take rest." Anjali caress his forehead.

He wish to push her hand but he's too weak to lift his arm.

"You're lying. Where's she? What you did to her?" He roar in allowed audible voice. Anjali jumps back in shock.

"Chotte.."

"Don't chotte me. You did something didn't you? She'll not leave me, I know. You all must said something to her. What do you said Mami? Di? Nani?"

Each pair of eyes rounds in shock. They can't believe, he's accusing them.

"We didn't do anything chotte."

"Wrong. She's my wife. She loves me. She will not leave me unless you guys did something with her."

"Enough... She's NOT YOUR WIFE. You're under coma from past one month. She's married to someone else. She's NOT YOUR WIFE." Anjali roars not able to bear the denial her brother was showing. He's acting as if he and Khushi married happily instead of painful contract marriage.

"ENOUGH ANJALI. Come out of your illusion. We're MARRIED. If you want proof then check our wedding card, one copy was in my room." He yells as he clearly remembers seeing her name and his name on an elegant wedding card. He even admired their wedding invitation.

Everyone rooted to their spot. They can't decipher anything out of Arnav sentence.

SHOT-4

Anjali break into Arnav room. Payal trail behind her to make sure of the things. She already having a gut feeling that everything will come into square once again. Once Khushi knows about Arnav state, she's not sure how'll her sister take the news.

Surely she'll be affected. But after that, what? Neither she can come back to him nor her bond with Rajiv will let her.

"Oh god..." Anjali shriek got Payal attention.

"What di?" She narrowed her eyes at the wedding invitation which had stole Anjali's whole being.

She took it from Anjali hands. In no time her eyes rounds in shock. That was the same invitation in which Arnav striked out Rajiv name and wrote his name instead. They did noticed the invitation on Arnav hands when he lay unconscious, a month before. As his health condition took toll on everyone they didn't paid much attention to the card.

"He needs psychiatrist di. He isn't in his sane. He lost it completely." Come an instant whisper from Payal.

"Payalji... What are you saying?" Anjali was forced to come out of her shock by Payal statement.

"Don't be shocked di. Everything is crystal clear. He wrote his name on Rajiv place and concluded that he's married to Khushi. He's in ILLUSION di. He is in DENIAL to accept the reality. What more do you want? Didn't you noticed how he called you by your name instead of di whenever you tried to tell him the reality. He's losing it badly. He needs to be treated else Khushi life would turn into hell."

"Oh... So he needs treatment so that khushiji will be happy. FINE.". Anjali tells sarcastically wiping her tears. Her sane part did warns her, Payal is indeed right. But the sister in her couldn't accept Payal pinpointing Arnav and suggested treatment only for Khushi well being.

***

"Excuse me sister... Can you help me with a call?" He calls the nurse who come to do routine check up on him.

"You aren't allowed for that Mr. Raizada. Tell me what need to be conveyed, I'll tell it to your family members." The nurse politely refuses abiding by the hospital rules.

Sane ASR itself don't take orders. Will this new ASR take?

"I am not asking your permission sister. I am ordering you. Give me your phone." He says curtly much more in ASR manner.

"Si.r.. I am sorry. It's rules sir. Patients are not allowed to use gadgets." She says with little fear.

'Shit!! I can't even lift my fingers to grab a phone. But I want it desperately. This stupid nurse also speaking about rules and all.'

"Why are you eating her head when I am here?" He shifted his head towards the door as he heard a familiar voice.

"Aman..." Arnav lips broke into a smile.

"ASR." Aman smiles brightly as if he saw his girlfriend after months of separation.

Aman gesture the nurse to move out.

"Sir, visiting hours are already over."

"I have permission from the hospital dean." Aman dodges both the nurse and topic.

"Aman... Aman... Thank god, you came. I want you to find Khushi. She's not here. You know na how sensitive she is. She must be worried for me. She would be devastated. Please find her aman. I think something happened to her. Di was stupid, she's bluffing something. We're married today only na. It's been hours since I woke up still there's no glimpse of khsuhi. I want to see her. I want to give her what she lost in our earlier marriage. Why are you staring me Aman? Go do what I said." He order like every other time.

"ASR... Do you think, your di will lie to you. She must be right." Aman says in a small voice almost guessing the situation.

"NOOOO... I know she was lying. She's saying my Khushi married someone else. How could she? My Khushi can never do that. I've her heart with me. What happened to you? When did you begun to double cross me? Do what I say."

Aman sighs and went near him. Keeping his hand on Arnav palms, he pressed it gently "I'll try. But promise me you'll not hurt her. She's Khushi na. She deserves happiness right?"

Arnav bob his head and continues sternly "I'll. And what's this Khushi. Call her bhabhi. I won't like this."

Aman smiles warily and hurries out. Punching detective number, he keep it against his ear "I want each and every detail about Rajiv and Khushi... bhabhi in an hour at my table."

He remembers how he keep tab on Khushi from the time ASR gone to comma. He wanted to make sure, his boss love was safe and fine when he isn't fine. But the main thing was he never read out the reports. He always asked vocally only about her safety. Because he has no strength in him to read about how happy she's with her new life when his boss was in peaceful slumber yet in distressed situation.
.
.
.
.
In an hour, Aman read the written reports carefully. A content smile formed on his lips. Punching the same number through his mobile phone he orders "Kidnap Khushi bhabhi. She should be treated well, mind it. A single sctrach or any misbehavior you'll see the hell."

He knows, if he ask polietly to Khushi, he wouldn't get result in short time. Moreover she didn't even made single attempt to know about Arnav, then how can he expect a positive result. So he did what he felt right at the moment.

If ASR sins and flaws are not enough, Aman added one more into ASR FLAW LIST.

SHOT-5

I tried to lift my finger to caress her face but failing miserably. How many days, am I going to be like this? Never ever I had felt this type of weakness in my innumerable faints. I can't move my legs nor my hands. What is happening to me? Khushi will feel bad na. How am I gonna lift her? How will I rescue her if she fall? Argh...

I exhales a sharp breath and try to lift my arm again. She's here, lying beside me in unconscious state. Aman said she fainted hearing my state. My brave girl fainted hearing my state. She's fretting so much. Didn't she the one who rescued me from the clutches of kidnappers? Then how come she fainted.

"Khushi..." I calls her. She remains to keep mum and sleeping peacefully.

"Khushi..."

How I wish to cuddle her and wake her up by stroking her cheeks fondly.

"Khushi..."

I calls her again as that was the only option left for me. Thankfully, she stirs in her sleep. Probably she heard me.

Her furrowed brows encourage me to wake her.

"Khushi Jaan..."

First time, I used an endearment. This is how I wished to call her. But circumstances never let me.

"Jaan..."

Her eyeballs moved inside her closed lids which clearly indicates her waking form.

"Khushi Jaan..."

She opens her eyes finally. A wave of excitement washed over my system. I am going to hear her call me 'Arnavji'. I am going to enjoy her pampering. I am going to spend all my life with her.

With the same enthusiasm, I calls her to divert her attention towards me as her eyes are busy in adjusting to the light "Jaan..."

Her doe eyes widens in shock. Oh man, How much I love her perfect O's! I just want to kiss her senseless.

"Khushi...."

Finally, her eyes lands on me and her eyes almost popped out from it's sockets.

"Er.. Hi.." I face palms mentally. Who on the earth wish his wife like this?

"YOU..." She almost yells in surprise and wanders her vision throughly on the room.

Why is she looks surprised?

"Yess me... Where are you? I was waiting for you from long. Look I am fine now. Khu..."

"You didn't change, are you? How dare you Arnav Singh Raizada? How dare you to kidnap me? Didn't your ego satisfied still? Who the hell you think you're? After calling me your Biggest Mistake of your life, you're still behind me. Oh now I got it, you need someone to show your frustration na. So you kidnapped me here. I am warning you last time Mr. Raizada, stay in your limits. I am not your punch bag which you can punch your words whenever you want. Unlike you, I've heart. So I'll pray to God for your recovery. But never ever again show your face to me." She lashes out and breathing heavily.

Ok. Admitted, I was a jerk back then. But doesn't that changed after our marriage. We're happy na. And what's she saying something about kidnapping. What the heck! I am her husband for god sake, why would I kidnap her

"Khu..."

I open my mouth to clear the misunderstanding. Already we had enough misunderstandings, I can't afford more.

But she step down from the temporary bed in haste. She blinks her eyes. I think, still she isn't out of her groggy state.

"Kh..."

"I hate you Raizada. I HATE YOU. I thought you has little humanity left in you. But alas! You proved once again you're Beast. I wish I had never met you. YOU'RE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. Wish I could reverse the time the day we met. Wish I never fall in love with you. If you hadn't entered in my life, my life would've been happy.... Good bye Mr. Raizada."

"Khu.."

She didn't wait there. She starts to go towards the entrance. No, I can't let her. Let me be her biggest mistake of her life. But I'll not let her to suffer for the same. I'll treat her like a princess. Soon she'll love me. It's just her anger speaking.

"Khushi.."

She is not hearing my words. My heart starts to gallop against ribcage with unknown anxiety. She's leaving me. No, I can't let that happen. She cannot leave me like this.

Gritting my teeth, I try to lift my arm. Why my limbs are not moving? Applying extra force, I clenched my teeth and try to get up from the bed.

I ain't showing any improvement. I need to muster extra strength. Gathering all my energy, I successfully lifted my arm. Yes, I can do it.

"Khushi..."

I closed my fist to gain some strength from it. I can move my fingers. I bring all my energy at one point and shifts my legs lightly.

Khushi is opening the door. I need to act fast. I need to stop her. With the same determination, I put my foot down on the floor. I don't know why my arms and legs are shivering.

Ignoring all, I shifted my whole body weight to my feet. Lifting a leg I was about to take a step..

THUD.

I fell right against the floor breaking my face on the process.

Khushi is gone. She left me.

Tears leaked from my eyes. No, ASR doesn't accept defeat. Clenching the cot, I stood up and my limbs trembles. ASR never losses. Grabbing the bed for support, I took few steps.

Thankfully, I found a walking stick on a corner. Limbs starts to pain. Will that pain stop me from reaching Khushi? Never. Taking quivering steps, I took the walking stick.

Hurriedly I try to walk out but tumbled down on the way. Who cares, I need khushi. I opens the door in hurry.

A sigh of breath escapes from my involuntarily. She's with Aman. But wait, why Aman is looking worried. With the help of walking stick, I took one step ahead and roots to the spot hearing Khushi words.

"We've Future Rajiv. Take me from here. I want to be in our home."

SHOT-6

What the hell? Wait, with whom she's speaking. I narrow my eyes and found a mobile on her other hand. How did I failed to see that? She said a hospital name on the phone. With whom she is speaking? Who's Rajiv?

"Khushi..."

She turns harshly after thrusting the mobile in Aman hands.

"ASR."

Before I speak to Khushi Aman jumps forward leaped on my arms.

"What the!"

"I am straight Aman." Words flow out and I didn't regret after seeing a surprised look from Khushi.

"You're standing ASR. You can move your arms." He express his happiness while my eyes fixed on my happiness.

"Khus..."

She turned her face away. If I am not wrong, her eyes are misted.

"Khushi... Khushi... We've to talk." I pushed Aman away and went near her.

"Yes bhabhi. We need to talk." Aman intervenes out of nowhere.

"What the!"

"ASR it's serious. If you not let me talk with her now, then you'll land in a big trouble." Aman warns much to my wonder.

My limbs starts to ache more.

"Do it fast." I give permission half-heartedly. If Aman is stubborn then surely there's something more into it.

"I think you should lay in bed. I'll call doctor. We can speak after that. Come.. it's not good for you to stand long." Aman held my arms to support me which I shrugs it.

"Finish what you started Aman. I'll not entertain any such things sooner."

"Will you both just stop it?"

I zip my mouth instantly as Khushi voice boomed on my ears. Her brows frowned in annoyance. She stood glaring us sternly.

"Er... Bhabhi... ASR has no ide..." Aman start to say something only then that thing fell on my eyes. Taking a step forward, I narrow my eyes in scrutiny.

"You bought new mangalsutra. What happened to the one you wore earlier. I didn't like this. Change into the one which you wore earlier."

"What the hell? Is it some joke? If then it was sick."

"What's there to joke? I simply didn't like it. Change it." I says in annoyance slipping my finger inbetween her skin and mangalsutra.

Next moment, I stumbles back with the force she pushed my hands away. Not that she was strong but it's my weakness I stumbled back.

"ASR.." Aman come forward to help me.

"I know, you don't believe in marriages and make fun of it. But this was the limit. What do you think of yourself? Who are you to order me to change my mangalsutra?" Khushi pointed her index finger.

"I am your husband dammit." I yells at her face. She's saying as if I asked her to kill someone. Can't I've the right to tell her to change the thing which binds us?

"You WAS my husband Mr. Raizada. A CONTRACTED ONE remember. Our contract ended last year itself Raizada. Now you're no one to order me."

"Stop calling me Mr. Raizada. What had happened to you? Did you hit your head somewhere? We already sorted out our contract marriage issues and married again willingly. What's wrong with you?"

"ASR... Please stop it. First go inside."

"You shut up Aman. She's blabbering nonsense and you want me to sit quiet. Never."

"You shut up Arnavji. First of all I am not blabbering anything. It's you who is speaking nonsense. You did everything and here you're trying to act a victim card. You're the one who told me, I am your biggest mistake of your life. Then what happened now? You lost your right on me, the moment our contract ended. The mangalsutra on my neck was not tied by you. You have no right to make comment on that."

Her each words are like fuel to the fire. How dare she say something like that? She belongs to me. I belong to her. No one! I'll not allow ANYONE to come between us. One Shyam is enough to destroy our lives and he did already. I'll not allow anyone. She belongs to me. Her heart is with me. She has to wear mangalsutra only on my name. Her partition was my right. She's MINE!

Without delay, I slipped my finger underneath her mangalsutra and pulled it harshly. NO ONE HAS RIGHT TO TOUCH MY POSSESSION, MY KHUSHI, MY ANGEL, MY JAAN.

Black beads scattered on the corridor. I felt immense satisfaction seeing everything rolling down for it's life. ASR will never accept defeat.

"ASR.."

"YOU'RE ONLY MINE! MINE TO LOVE, MINE TO CHERISH."

Everything around me spins. In no time, I felt darkness surrounding me. Eyes drooped shut and a shout was what I heard before completely going blank.

"ARNAVJI..."

SHOT-7

"This much happened and no one informed me." Khushi murmurs under her breath. Her fingers caressing the names on the wedding card in which Arnav wrote his name. Payal sat beside her throwing daggers at Aman.

"Khushi bhabhi. It's me who kidnapped you. ASR has no idea about it. He needs you Khushi bhabhi. Only you can cure him. Only you and him are meant to be. You're his anchor." Aman plead with a sorry face. Alas, if only his sorry can make everything alright.

"Khushiji please do something. Please. I know we've no right to interfere into your life and asks something beyond the limit. But our hands are tied Khushiji. Please... Do something. Please bring back my chotte. Please..." Anjali begs holding khushi arms.

Khushi sat immobile. Her eyes are fixed at nothing at particular.

"Di you're forcing her. Again you're doing the same thing like your brother. Why is it always Khushi was forced? Why is it always she has to bear the burnt? Why is it always she has to compromise on her life for your siblings? Why is it always her life was being tested by your family? Why? Why? She has her own life than looking after your brother di. She have her own household to look after. Why are you always ready to curb her happiness? When will you all stop this? Will she ever have a peaceful life?" Payal yells at Anjali face. She was already hell angry on Aman for kidnapping her sister. If Arnav not inflicted enough pain on her sister, his siblings and his manager also doesn't let Khushi to live in peace.

"Payal bhabhi please you should calm down and think wisely. We're in critical situation. ASR isn't in his normal state. He should be handled with care."

"Oh, so you want my sister to babysit your boss. Wow. Whatever Arnav Singh Raizada needs, that should be fulfilled immediately. Even my sister has wishes. Don't you think it's wrong to ask someone else wife to look after another man?" Payal breathed in rage.

"He isn't some another man payalji. He WAS her husband even if it was a contract one, no one can deny the truth that he lived with her for almost six months." Retorts Anjali.

"That's what I am saying di, he WAS her husband NOT NOW. You cannot force Khushi to return back to him. What about Rajiv? Did you thought about him?"

Anjali ignore payal and went near Khushi.

"Khushiji please... I am not saying chotte is right. There's no doubt he did injustice to you. But please don't punish him like this. He already got his punishment, aren't he? He'll never get his love. He'll never get the privilege to live happily with his family. Don't punish him more. Please... Khushiji... Don't punish him... Give him back to me. I promise we'll never come in your life again. Please khushiji... This is the last favour I am asking from you. I'll never disturb you again. Just once... Say something khushiji..."

Khushi looks at the broken Anjali who is weeping her heart out. Her puffy eyes reflected her misery.

"Don't brainwash her di. It's not her fault that your brother was lying here. It's something he deserves and earned it willingly."

"STOP IT PAYALJI. JUST STOP IT. I agree my brother done a sin by forcing khushiji. But don't put all the blame on him. If chotte married her forcefully then it's for me. Likewise khushiji agreed to marry him only for YOU. It's not that she did to save me from shyam. And it's your family who came to know about Shyam first. It's you all Gupta's who found his true face. If you're so pure hearted, then you should have informed his truth to us earlier. Chotte and me are not the only members in our family. You could've informed to Nani, mama or Aakash. They would've done something. If you had done that, all of us wouldn't be here. Chotte would not have witnessed the scene in terrace, nor he could've forced her. Shyam was living under the same roof with you and you didn't once opened your mouth about him. Why? Least you could've reveal the truth to Aakash. Wouldn't he hear you without being judgemental? At least my chotte would've be spared from getting kidnapped, and I... wouldn't went into depression and lost my child... Arnav wouldn't be in this situation..."

"Don't turn the tables against us. We would've..."

"Will you all stop this verbal spat?" Khushi roar as she tired of everything.

"Khushi." Payal whispers taking a step towards her.

Khushi showed her palm and run to Arnav room from waiting lounge. She directly went towards his bed. Her red eyes notices his weak frame.

"You always turn my life upside down. Why? You should be happy for getting rid of me, haaina. But why are you not happy? Why are you like this? Is it love? But you never showed your love except... once on the phone. What type of love is this? IS PYAR KA KYA NAAM DOON?" She whispers to his slumber form.

"Khushi..."

Rajiv calls her who entered behind her. Colour drains out from Khushi face.

"Shall we go?" He asks not shifting his gaze from her. She blinks her eyes. Tears which stopped for few seconds starts to cascade down again.

Her earlier words to Rajiv came as a reminder in her mind making her to regret her words. What is she going to do now?

"Khushi.. It's getting late."

Khushi looks at Arnav sleeping form. She bit her lower lips to control her sob. Her heart felt heavy. Guilt started to eat her system. Not able to stand more, she run outside. Rajiv follows her behind.

"Everything is over. Khushiji is gone. My chotte... What will I tell to him? Hey devimaaiyaa... My chotte... Everything is my fault. Each and everything happening because of me. I let myself to get fooled by Shyam and destroyed my chotte life. I destroyed his life. I shouldn't have encouraged Khushiji to marry her. Unlike me who never get true love, khushiji have her love. Chotte loves her truly. What had I done? I thought she khushiji deserve happiness but not in the cost of my chotte life. What had I done? How am I gonna rectify it? Chotte has been always a perfect brother. But I am? The most important and biggest mistake of his life was not khushiji, but ME, only ME. I am the most FLAWED sister. My chotte..."

Anjali kneels down in chair, seeing Khushi going with Rajiv. Her breath laboured by her cries. In no time she followed her brother, fainting there on the middle of the corridor.

SHOT-8

"You still love him."

Khushi turn around in shock. Rajiv is standing behind her with crossed arms.

"What?"

"Your heart is with him, not here." He declares firmly.

Khushi gulps in nervousness. Her eyes roams in different angle to avoid meeting his eyes.

"You're helpless seeing him lying on the hospital bed."

"Wh..at are you saying? Nothing like that. I.. I feel sleepy..." She took a step to run away from the situation.

"You're doing the same mistake again. Running away from the problems. Running away from your own feelings."

She stilled in her place as he continues to speak.

"You want to be with him, beside him, aren't you?"

She thinned her lips to refrain herself from sobbing loudly.

"You aren't angry with him like you're presenting yourself."

"S..top... it." She says amidst of her myriad of emotions.

"You are guilty."

"YES.. I AM GUILTY. Guilty for ignoring his pleads. Guilty for leaving him. Is it enough now?." She shouts by breaking plethora of emotions.

She slouches down on the sofa, cupping her mouth, sobbing harshly. Rajiv sit beside her and put his hand on her head.

"Let it out Khushi. You can't suppress it more."

She sobbed nearly half an hour before lifting her puffy eyes to see him.

"I can't see him like this. He.. He is a man of arrogance and power. There isn't a day, I didn't curse him for the same. But now he isn't anything, I know him. He... His eyes always mirror his mind whereas his words always conveys his facade. Now... I don't know how to take this. From the start we're always Tom and Jerry. We used to fight on each and everything. Infact we would find new reasons to fight. It took long, too long to accept that I started to like him. Same with him. He isn't a person who's vocal about his feelings. But his eyes gives way to all. Amidst of all the fights, we started to admit there is something between us. That something brought us together during jiji wedding. He was so nice, much more like my prince charming, I dreamt of. I was almost sure, we would end up together soon. But never thought that would be due to contract marriage. I thought he wrote the message on the mirror and gone to terrace. I was waiting for his proposal. I thought that would be the best day on my life which turned out to be the worst at the end of the day. Worst that still it pains. The prince charming took a back seat. Our lives changed drastically. The intensity of hate manifolds from his end. Apart from that, family also not supportive. Everything crushed my dreams. Still, I lived the hell and made his hell to by doing all the things he hate. One day he revealed the reason behind our contract marriage.

I was devastated. The person I thought loves me was the one who thought so low of me. It broke me much than his contract marriage. He didn't even once thought to ask my side of story. He directly jumped into conclusion. Still, I tolerated him and tried to prove my innocence. But... Kidnapping happened. He confessed his feelings for the first time and that was the last time too. Shyam was thrown out, di was broken. He turned soft towards me like those time in jiji wedding rituals. Seems like devimaaiyaa was not happy with my happiness. On the same night, he dragged me to poolside and shouted right on my face that I am biggest mistake of his life. How can he? I... Words would be less, If I want to express my grief. That was the last straw. My belief broken on the term love. I realised I WILL NEVER BE HIS PRIORITY, NOR I HAVE ANY RESPECT IN HIS LIFE. It's not like I want his di place. As a wife, at least I can expect pure love from my husband right. But all he gave was accusations and insults from the start even before marriage and even after his confession. I realised Beast and Angels will end up together in stories only.

And another thing also happened. Jiji saw him when he labelled me as his biggest mistake. She instantly dragged me out from there and stopped only at buaji house. Everything was out before everyone. Like everytime, he realised his mistake only after that. He run towards me with his innumerous apologies. But nothing reduced the pain in my heart. I didn't expect him to act like a prince charming, but a normal husband who loves his wife and give respect to her. I didn't get both. I was always his punch bag. Whenever he was frustrated he'll lash out on me. I was..."

"We only show our true self with our loved one's khushi. He can show his all emotions only with you. Unlike women, men's don't know how to tackle their frustrations and keep themselves grounded. I am not saying, he's right. I am just stating the common fact." Rajiv intervenes her lengthy flashback.

"You're not like that Rajiv." She says with a small smile.

"That's because you didn't know me well."

Khushi instantly snaps her head at him. She give a guilty look and continues to speak.

"Buaji and amma never let him near me. Many times he tried to convince me and called me. I avoided totally. At one point in anger, I told him to not show his face. That was the last day I saw him before today. I truly didn't want to say that word. In my hurt, I spilled those words and he chose to follow my words unlike earlier times.

In between this di miscarriage happened and she went into trauma. I joined in the school and met you. After that you know, after an year di and jiji encouraged me to move on when you proposed for the marriage...

Di, even though she wished to see me as her sister-in-law, encouraged me to move on. She did not want me to spoil my life for her brother whom she considered as a culprit like Shyam. Everyone compared him to Shyam. Both destroyed our life for their own purposes. I wanted some peace from everything. I am not ready to marry nor I wished to go back to him. But... somehow, di and jiji convinced me or to say brainwashed me. They used to say that, divorce is not the end. We should not accept his flaws always. In a spur of moment, I agreed which I regret till now. I thought all my pain will reduce, if I concentrate on moving on. But I was so wrong.

I, not only destroyed arnavji but also your life. The moment you tied that nuptial thread on my neck, I realised what I wanted. Perhaps, if we done all the rituals than opting for simple temple marriage, I would've realised my need for him long back. I needed nothing but wanted to go back to him. I wanted to scold him and wanted him to run behind me with his puppy sorry face. I wished to enjoy all my moments with him. But it was late. So late!!! For the first time Khushi Kumari Gupta didn't heard her heart, much like him and destroyed your life.

I realised, why he acted impulsive on seeing me with Shyam. I realised his feelings behind his actions.

But never once, I thought this all could be avoided if I informed about Shyam earlier. If we're right on hiding truth from Raizada's for jiji sake, then he's right on saving his sister life. It's that I paid the price for hiding the truth. In the name of giving Shyam a chance, we didn't realise we let di to live in fake world and let him to live peacefully when I and arnavji had gone through hell. How wrong it was? Di has right to know about her husband, aren't she? Who're we to decide what's good for her? She's own individual right. Today I realised that. When I came to know arnavji health condition, I felt immense anger on them. How can they hide this from me? Ain't I deserved to know? But didn't I done the same in Shyam matter. Everyone says I am perfect. How can I be, when I done two major sins? One hiding Shyam truth and another destroying your life. I am Flawed too."

"Why did you said we've future then?"

"I... All his words came back with the force and I hate to re-live the moment."

"You was instigated just by the memory, then think about him Khushi. With my knowledge, I can say he's impulsive. Humans and flaws are inseparable. Some humans do ingenious sins and some do rectifying mistakes. Big or small, everyone has flaws. It's upto you to choose what you want. Just like you, he has own set of complaints on you. One cannot be perfect. We do mistakes and we do learn from it. As far as he's concerned, he seems to be the one who learns from mistake. Give him a chance, if not for him, atleast for you. You deserve happiness, your happiness lies in him."

"Rajiv.." Khushi looks at him in surprise.

"What? I know the day we married, you're not still out of your first love that's why I didn't question you when you chose separate room for yourself. And... I didn't register our marriage for the same reason. You didn't need to go through the extra painful process of divorce. Go back to him. You both deserve each other."

"Rajiv... But..."

"Tell me honestly, did you felt bad when he broke your mangalsutra?"

Khushi nods as no guiltily "How do you know?"

"That's not matter. Go Khushi.."

"Thank you." Khushi shared a friendly hug and next moment they heard a thunderous shout.

"KHUSHI.."

There stood Arnav Singh Raizada on his full glory, spitting fire through his eyes.

SHOT-9

'How did he managed to come here?' Thought Khushi breaking the hug. Her eyes instantly catches the walking stick on his hand and she sighs in relief.

And then her eyes travels up to reach his eyes. A shudder clamps her nerves. The situation is same like before. Rajiv in the place of shyam yet there's major differences between the both situations.

'Will he misunderstand her again? Will he accuse her again? Will he manhandle her again? Will she have to go through hell again?'

Arnav walks as fast as he could to reach her. Khushi breath hitches seeing the coldness in his eyes. She was sure, she's once again going to be the prey for his misunderstandings and anger. Once again she's going to bear his hate.

'Will she back off now? Is she ready to bear him and his flaws once again?'

She raises her eye level to him as he come to stand infront of her. Her lips already chanting lakhs of devimaaiyaa. Her eyes closed ready to hear another set of insults.

"Why did you left me there? I was searching for you." He complain like a kid and hugs her without any prior warning and throws the walking stick away as if it was some dirty thing.

Each pair of eyes rounds in shock. They're expecting a volcano to erupt but the softness and childish complaint from him left them spellbounded.

"Arnavji." She whispers in shock and breaths out which she held back unknowingly. Happy tears already wetted her cheeks.

Her arms instantly circled his frame completing the hug.

"When I woke up, you was not there. Why did you came here leaving me?" He asks again.

"She came here to pack her bags so that she can stay with you in your house henceforth." Rajiv willingly took it upon him to answer Arnav. Arnav frowns breaking the hug whereas other two pair of eyes who accompanied Arnav was shocked.

"You're?"

"Her friend." Replies Rajiv.

"Oh... Khushi come." Arnav didn't react much to his reply and held Khushi hand ready to drag her out. He wants nothing but Khushi. His mind cleverly ignores all the possible truths lay before him yet he is not interested in using his ASR brain. He even forget the fact that he broke her mangalsutra not so few hours before. She held back his hand stopping him.

"He's not my friend." Says Khushi in firm tone ready to clear everything before starting afresh.

"Bhabhi/khushiji/Khushi..No..." Three voices of Aman, Aakash and Rajiv echoes simultaneously.

Arnav frown deepens "So?"

"Khushiji it's getting late. I mean doctor advised bhai to take rest. But he was adamant to see you and we've no option. You do know his stubbornness right." Aakash says hoping against hope that Khushi will understand the situation and stops revealing further. Already Arnav created enough ruckus by going hysterical on not seeing Khushi and they had no option but to bend down his demand and bring him to Rajiv house.

Khushi read the plead in Aakash eyes and decides to wait for sometime.

"Shall we?" Arnav asks almost pulling her outside.

"Wait... Your walking stick.." Khushi stops him by holding his hand. Her eyes didn't missed his unsteady legs.

"You're here na, I don't need any damn stick."

Khushi astonishes by his sentence and even more when he throws his arms over her shoulder and leans slightly on her. Khushi rounds her arm around his waist instinctively in support.

"Come..."

Khushi helps him to walk as he has difficulty in taking steady steps. She made him sit inside backseat of the car with the help of Aakash and looks at Rajiv for one last time before hopping on the vehicle. Rajiv waves at her with full fledged smile hiding his breaking heart. Afterall staying with Khushi Kumari Gupta taught him to hide one's own feeling for others happiness.

Arnav instantly held her hand.

"You're not going anywhere." He states firmly tightening his hold and shifts close to her.

Khushi mouths an assurance with a smile and entwined their fingers. He breath in relief. He let his aching muscles to relax and leans comfortably on the seat.

She looks at him. The content smile he had on his face was something she wished to see for her entire life. He holds her palm on his both hands and clutches it against his heart. His heart starts to beat in serene. Khushi too feel it against her palm and places her head on his shoulder. Arnav eyes closes automatically in pleasure.

Seeing the content couple, Aakash and Aman couldn't help but grin ear to ear.
.
.
.

"I am not coming inside this damn hospital. I need to go back to home. Khushi get in." Another tantrum from Arnav. He is sulking at the entrance of the hospital, stubborn to not get down from the car whereas the three are pleading him to climb down and to accept the treatment.

"Bhai.. please..."

"I am fine dammit. Can't you see it? Besides Khushi is here na, nothing would happen to me." He argues confidently.

"I am saying this last time arnavji, if you don't climb down and get treated by doctors I would leave you again." And that did the work. He climb down in haste hitting his legs on the process.

"Can't you see before walking? What's the hurry to get down?" She scolds caressing his knee.

He sulks making face "I am fine Khushi."

"I can very well see that. You're not going to do any stupid things again." She mutters helping him to walk through the corridor. Well, as the result of Arnav Singh Raizada ready denial on using the wheel chair.

"You're no less than a kid."

"Says who. You yourself was a kid."

"Here comes laadgovernor highness hmph..."

Aakash and Aman who was following them behind, enjoys their little banter. They're having fun seeing the arrogant ASR sulking form on getting scolds from their bhabhi. Their lips refused to be thinned.

"I am not going to stay in this stupid hospital. Sense the smell. Yuckk..."

"Serves you right for not taking proper medicines. How dare you to skip it? See, where you've landed yourself."

"You're not there to remind me na." He states sadly and Khushi looks at him in uncertain.

Does this mean, he come back to reality?

This was the question pop in their minds. Khushi doesn't have the time to ponder over it as they reached his hospital room.

Pushing open the door, she stand still rooted to the spot. Entire Gupta family was standing infront of her sending daggers at Arnav Singh Raizada, whereas ASR was passing equal glares at them.

"Tell them to go out Khushi. They came here to separate you from me. TELL THEM TO GO OUT." His voice turns fierce and unknown rage occupied his senses. His hold on Khushi shoulder got tighten and he leans closely to Khushi almost shifting half of his weight on her. Khushi clearly understand his fears and rage as she can feel his shuddering frame against hers. She looks helplessly at both of her loved one's.

"OUT. MY KHUSHI WILL NOT COME WITH YOU."

SHOT-10

"OUT. MY KHUSHI WILL NOT COME WITH YOU."

He isn't come into reality yet. If he was ASR he wouldn't be spoken to them like this when he still feels guilty. Khushi sighs at the thought.

"He forced you to come here, didn't he? We know he will do something like this when payalia called us."

"No buaji. He didn't forced me, I came here on my will." Khushi intervenes.

"Don't take his side. Wait where's Rajiv? Did he done something to him?" Asks buaji in angry tone.

"Who's Rajiv?" Arnav raises his brow as he feel he heard this name somewhere.

"He's her husband." Buaji blurts out before Khushi could do damage control.

Arnav eyes turned red in rage. His fingers forms a fist.

"No one but I AM HER HUSBAND buaji. Dare you take another man name with my khushi." He roars whereas khushi flinches at his voice.

"Arnavji please.. you should not talk to elders with this tone."

He took a sharp breath and nods accepting her point. He knows, his Khushi will not leave him henceforth. Apparently he believes in Rajiv words. Strangely he finds Rajiv words true than anyone's words.

Buaji glares at Khushi for taking his side. They saw Khushi making way towards the bed supporting Arnav. She made him lay on the bed and tucks him inside the comforter.

"I'll back. Will you just sleep until then?" She whispers softly against his ear.

"Khushi... No.." His eyes instantly took a wary look.

"I promise. You trust me right." She assured him and caress his forehead time to time in a comforting manner.

"They.." He points his index at the Gupta's. Khushi sighs and places her lips on his forehead without hesitation. Ignoring the gasps she asks "I am saying na. Trust me. Won't you do that?"

"I trust you but not they."

"So you're not trusting me again."

"No no... I'll take rest. And you should come to me. Promise." He hurries to clear his stance.

"Pakka promise." She flickered his nose and his lips stretches into a full fledged smile.

Pushing the comforter over his frame, she gestures her buaji, amma and jiji to outside.

They made a face and left outside.
.
.
.
.

"You're doing wrong Khushi." Starts an concerned Garima.

"It's not going to work." Says Payal.

"You're entering into den willingly." Mutters an angry buaji.

Khushi inhales a sharp breath before braces herself to face the clan of her protectors.

"I know you're not happy with the happenings. I... I mean Rajiv knows about us and he willingly let me break our relationship. I and Rajiv are never meant to be. He's my friend, not more than that." Khushi close her eyes ready to hear scoldings.

"What? Is it any child play? First Arnavji married you forcefully for six months and after legally separated from him, you married Rajiv and now you're saying you both are not meant to be and Rajiv let you go just like that. Is it any joke? Where's your moral khushi?" Payal raises her voice whereas elders helplessly looking at the siblings. They don't know what to do. They do not want to force Khushi into a relationship once again.

Khushi blenches at the tone "Please jiji. Try to see the reality from my eyes. Do you think, it's easy for me to break a nuptial bond just like that? No jiji. It took all my willpower to break my morals which I worship like a god. Do you know, I was just breathing all these days. The moment I saw arnavji, I came alive again. The minute I came to know his health status, I broke completely."

"You can live without love Khushi but not without TRUST. Your relationship with arnavji lacks the major element."

"Time will change everything. I trust him. He'll redeem himself."

"Life is not a fairy tale where the hero changes for heroine just in a blink."

"You yourself said that life isn't a fairytale, then it's absurd to expect everything to change soon. Everyone learn from mistakes and I learnt in hard way the same way he did."

"What a joke khushi? When did he learnt from mistakes? From the start all he did was to hurl insults at you, distrust you, hurted you. Then how can you expect us to accept him?"

"He did learn it jiji. Hadn't he realised his mistake, he wouldn't stood by my side when Shyam threw nasty words at me after his kidnapping. He wouldn't slapped him. He did learnt it."

"Then what I seen on the poolside? Do you have any explanation to cover up his blunders?"

"It's his anger. His anger words held no meaning."

"So you mean, you forgive him for everything. Then why did you married Rajiv?"

"It's a mistake."

"WHAT?"

"Yes, it's the biggest mistake of my life. If only I hadn't come on your and di words. I was angry on arnavji but never once I thought to move on from him. But you and di did a perfect job on brainwashing me. Using my uncertainty, you changed my views. Like a fool, I didn't heard my heart and went ahead with my brain. See where it ended. Everything is a mess."

"I can't believe you're speaking like this. Now that Arnav Singh Raizada become a saint and we're your enemies"

"Stop it jiji please. I am tired of everything. Tired of sacrificing. Tired of losing my happiness. Tired of giving my life decisions to others. He's worng, I never compromise on this truth. But..

Di is right at one point. If he's wrong then we're too. We've no right to hide such a scandal of their life from them. You said about trust right. If arnavji was a traitor according to you then I am traitor on his view jiji. Leave arnavji, Anjali di had trusted me right. What did I done in return? In the name of safeguarding her I hide the biggest truth of her life. Shyam tried to kill arnavji inspite of the chance we given him. Our chance vent in vain. If he deserved a chance, then arnavji too deserves a chance."

"But khushi, he has many flaws. You can't live a peaceful life."

"Everyone human being has some flaws jiji. Even you have."

Payal shoots a sharp glare at her.

"You shouldn't have involved Rajiv in my life. Don't be shocked, Rajiv told me about your interference. It's you who instilled the marriage thoughts in him, it's you who persuaded him to took forward a proposal to me. Before I could think of forgiving arnavji, you pushed Rajiv in my life that too deliberately. Isn't it a flaw? Who gave you the right to decide my life? Who gave you the right to decide whom I should pair with?"

Payal looks at her with hurt. All she did was for Khushi happiness but never once she thought she would be accused for that. She wipes her tears.

"Khushi... He's a nice man unlike arnavji and Shyam. I thought you deserve a peaceful life away from them. You deserve happiness Khushi."

"My happiness lies in arnavji not Rajiv." Khushi cries. She regret the minute she give into their wishes in one of her weak moment.

What a mess they created? Thinking to settle one's life they did destroyed many lives and wasted a year.

"He's not stable." Payal argues back.

"Blame me for that. No one but I am the reason." Khushi wails.

"Who knows, once he's back to normal he may turn into the same arrogant man who only knows to hurt you."

"What is your vengeance with him? Can't you see, how much suffered he is? Isn't enough that he, the ASR gone insane not able to cope up with his heartbreak? Do you think he'll hurt me henceforth? Even if he did, I know how to tackle him. I know how to handle him. I need no one permission to live with him. I am done with everything. I am going to live, what my heart desires. Good night."

Khushi marches outside not giving the chance for Payal to retort back.

She rushes to Arnav room where he's waiting for her eagerly. The moment she opened the door, he beams at her in happiness.

"I was afraid."

She smiles lightly and went near him. He held her palm instantly and gestured her to sit.

She was going to sit opposite to him, but he hurries to stop her "Not here. Here." He pats a space behind him.

She frowns but nonetheless she did. And Arnav lays his head on her lap and held her palm against his chest.

"I thought they'll not let you come near me." He reveals in low tone.

"I promised na. Once you are fine, we're going to live happily." She grins at him expecting the same enthusiasm from him.

"I am perfectly alright."

"I don't think so."

He scrunches his brows trying to find what was wrong with him. His brain refused to budge his orders.

"Don't think too much. Everything will be fine soon. And you will be muttering your what the and bark orders at everyone..."

Arnav interrupts her finishing the sentence.

"And you'll be fluttering like a butterfly all around our house and scolding me for my grumpiness. And you'll bring your stars above our bed and Salman posture, devimaaiyaa statue.... Anddd... Arnav-Khushi hamesha."

She chuckles amidst of her tears. Arnav lowers her head down by hooking his arms behind her neck and press his lips against her skin on forehead. Khushi closes her eyes and place her head on his. Slowly Arnav drifts into a peaceful slumber with Khushi beside him caressing him time to time looking forward to a happy life ahead where no misunderstandings, no ego, no treachery but LOVE exists.

Aakash sighs in relief seeing the couple through the glass door regretting his flaw on not standing by his brother when all his brother did was to safeguard them. He failed as a brother. He wipes his misted eyes.

"I shouldn't have dragged her on that night and ordered amma, buaji to not let him meet Khushi. Maybe everything would've worked on different way, if I let them on their own." Payal whispers eyeing the content couple.

"We failed our siblings."

EPILOGUE
As if a programmed processor was instilled on red scorching sun, it made it's presence at exact time. I stirs, flickers my eyes by the disturbance. Frowning, I turn to my left and hide my face on the soft pillow which seems extra soft today. I felt a warm caress on my scalp.

"Wake up sleepy head."

"What the! Am I sleepy head?." I open my eyes and found myself against a soft skin. All the happenings of yesterday, came rushes to my memory.

After years, I get my happiness yesterday, all for myself. I got my Khushi. After months of treatment, after months of depression I am all fit and fine now.

"Daydreaming ah?"

I look up at the voice and found her smiling at me with tinge of blush and serene adorned her face. She feels complete like me.

"Why would I dream when I've my reality." I whispers hoarsely and buries myself on her neck again.

"Get up sleepyhead. I've to do morning Pooja and need to cook something special as it was my first day after marriage." She complains pushing me away from her. I refuses to budge and locks her inbetween my empty arms.

"It's not your new home that you've to do all those rituals. It was always your home and the kitchen was always yours. So there's no need to do it for courtesy."

She pouts instigating me to ravish her. Before I give her a sweet peck, she starts to blabber.

"I am not doing it for courtesy arnavji. It's my right. I want to cook for my family. I want to celebrate my first day after marriage. Your business brain will not understand all this laadgovernor."

"You look beautiful." I adorn her early morning beauty without any makeup. My fingers strokes her fair skin on her cheeks which are turning hot by passing minute.

"Don't... speak cheesy dialogues Raizada. It doesn't suit you." She stutters as I lowers my head down to her level.

"It's only reserved for you Mrs. Raizada."

She cupped my cheeks and strokes gently "I can't believe we're here after all the hate, misunderstandings, separation."

"Because our LOVE is stronger than anything."

"I never thought you would change like this." Khushi exclaims.

"How?"

"You look more like my prince charming, I dreamed off. You know back then when you're in hospital, I almost shouted at jiji when she pointed your flaws. I challenged her, you'll learn from your mistakes. She didn't trust that. It's only after seeing you coming out of depression and your genuine apologies, she trusted you. I am so proud of you arnavji. Trust me, even I had the same doubt. Somewhere I feared, what if you go back to your earlier behaviour. But.. our LOVE safeguarded everything. You didn't let me down. In fact you done all the marriage rituals with our loved one's blessings. I am so happy arnavji."

"I never believed the fact of you marrying other man. Trust me, even after my treatment I can't believe you married him. You give my place to another man. I just wished to strangle him. Lucky guy, he never came before me." I let out a dry laugh remembering the sad moments when Khushi revealed how she married another man and why she left him for me.

"Sorry arnavji. It's stupid of me."

"You deserve punishment for that."

"What? You'll punish me laadgovernor. It's our first day after marriage and you're ready to punish me." Pouts she.

"Yes. You dare to let another man to tie mangalsutra." Saying this, I lean dangerously and tickles her. She wiggle beneath my arms as I nuzzled her neck and tickles her simultaneously. Her precious laughter filled my ears. Life wouldn't be euphoric more than this.

"St..op. it.. arnavji." She cries amidst of the tickles. First time, I made her cry out of happiness. I patted myself mentally.

I stop my act seeing the tears rolling down her eyes and she's trying to control her laughter.

"You..."

Before I could predict her actions, she rolled me and pins me down beneath her.

"What... th.e!" I stutters as her fingers trailing sensually from my forehead and down to eyes and to cheeks and stops at my lips.

I blinks my eyes noticing the sudden playfulness on her eyes.

"Stay glued to the bed Raizada. That's your punishment for messing up with me."

And she stood up abruptly. It took few seconds to comprehend that my hands are tied to the headpost with her dupatta. What the! When did it happened?

"Khushi.." I shouts wiggling and she giggled at my state standing at the bathroom door with only my shirt on, presenting a tempting posture.

"Khushiji I am sorry. Everything was because of me. If I was..." Anjali apologize standing beside khushi in the kitchen.

"No no di, please don't blame yourself. Everyone is at fault. Let's forget the past and better we move on." Khushi assures Anjali with a smile. Anjali hugs her sending thanks to God for sending an angel in their lives.

"Shall I help you?"

"No no di. Today kitchen is my charge. No one has right to interfere in it." Khushi warns sternly with smile on her face.

"We're here to take khushi for pagphere rasam." Buaji breaks the silence after exchanging pleasantries.

Khushi beams in joy and looks at Arnav for reaction. He didn't shows any and was happy to complete the ritual.

Khushi felt strange but nonetheless she didn't ponder over it. She's too excited to go to her maternal home.

"I'll drop you home buaji." Arnav says.

For whole day khushi didn't even got call from Arnav. She got suspicious after he refuses to take her back home. He send the car with his trusted driver.

"Hpji Is arnavji in home?" She asks when she spots him at garden.

"Woh.. yes bhabhi. He's here." He replies not meeting her directly as if he's hiding something.

Khushi noted mentally and tiptoed to the house. She roams her eyes around the living room. He was not there. Frowning she was about to climb up the stairs only to stop by hearing strange noises from kitchen.

She creeps towards the kitchen and peeks from outside. Her mouth flung open and eyes widen like saucers.

There Arnav is standing in front of the gas stove with apron on, having flour coated cheeks. She further looks ahead and found him circling the batter bag hurriedly into the hot oil pan.

She inches closer to him and gasps seeing the batter.

"Khushi..." He looks at her in shock and then avert his eyes to the stove. He had mission to complete.

"Wait for few minutes." He requests apologetically.

She shakes her head and creeps behind him, and stood circling her arms around his waist and keeps her head against his back.

"Why are you troubling yourself?" She asks in concern seeing the amount of sweat his body is producing. Evidently he never have been without AC or fan, but here he's standing in kitchen sweating for hours from when only he knows.

"I thought I can finish this before you arrives. But... Jalebi's burnt." He replies in regret and eyed the burnt Jalebi's on the counter.

Khushi places her lips against his fabric and presses her head against his back.

"This is why you didn't come to pick me. Where's everyone? Didn't anyone help you?"

"I send them for a movie. Afterall these moments are private and I want to keep it that way. But this stupid ja.. sh... This sweet Jalebi's are not coming properly. I am trying this from noon. Dammit." He mutters at the end in annoyance.

Khushi grins at his surprise of making Jalebi's for her. What more she want? The arrogant, sharp tongue laadgovernor who hates the mere sight of her was now preparing her favourite just to make her happy. She's in cloud nine, to say understatement.

She breaks the hug and tucks her pallu inside her skirt. Arnav whines at the loss of contact.

She held his fist from behind and guides him to push the batter in perfect shape. Arnav engrossed in her than preparing her favourite. Her instructions fell in deaf ear.

He in trance bend down and places a noisy kiss on her silky skin. Her cheeks turns lateritious red in no time.

"Arnavji..." She whines cutely.

He presses his two petals on her other cheek. She hid herself on his shoulder blushing beetroot red.

"Love isn't about going on dates, giving presents, marrying and other pleasures but accepting their partner with their FLAWS too. Small or large we've to change it with love not by anger or separation." A person from the two pair of eyes seeing the scene whispers.

"Right, it isn't only about trust but all other factors. We never realised the meaning of love Aakashji." Another pair, his wife whispers back.

"It's our time to accept eachother flaws Payal like THEM." Aakash points the couple in kitchen who was immersed in their love to notice the audience.
